This sampler has been specially designed for drawing samples at any required level.

The zone sampler can be easily disassembled for ease of cleaning and it consists of a seamless cylinder with a screw thread at the bottom and valves on top and bottom, type Z314, or with teflon bal and independed valve on top, type Z341 t/m Z345. The valve opening of the sampler is such that it is also suitable for taking samples in thick liquids. This sampler is a quality Hartwig Instruments product with guarantee.

Operation
The zone sampler is lowered into the liquid to be sampled using
a chain or a rope (100% cotton!).When lowering the sampler with a certain speed, the liquid forces the bottom and the top valve of the sampler upwards, the liquid is allowed to flow in at the bottom and out at the top. When the sampler reached the required level the sampler comes to a standstill the bottom and top valve closes automatically.
